SpeedBoom Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 13, 2026
SpeedBoom is a speedometer with engine and blow-off sounds. It is built to work entirely on your device. We do not collect, store or share any personal data.
Location
SpeedBoom uses your location to show your speed, distance, the map, the 0-100 timer and your drive history. Location is only used on your device and is never sent to us or to anyone else. The app uses location in the background only while you have turned on the Live Activity, to keep your speed up to date on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island.
Motion sensors
The motion sensors are used to detect when you shake the phone or shift gears, and for the G-force meter. This data is processed on your device and is not stored or shared.
Drive history and records
Your drives, routes, records and settings are stored only on your device, so the app, its widget and Siri shortcuts can show them. They are deleted when you delete the app.
Purchases
Subscriptions and purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details. The app only checks with Apple, on your device, whether you have SpeedBoom Pro.
No tracking
SpeedBoom has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no third-party SDKs, and it does not track you across apps or websites.
