Privacy Policy and Support · Last updated 15 September 2026

Pillove does not collect your data. There is no account, no sign-in and no server. The app makes no network requests, contains no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting code, and uses no third-party libraries.

Where your information lives

Everything you record — medications, schedules, the log of doses, stock counts, report (rapor) details, cabinet entries and any readings you add by hand — is stored on your device, in the app's own storage and in a container shared with its widgets and Apple Watch app. No one but Pillove can reach it.

If you back your device up to iCloud or to a computer, that backup includes the app's data, as it does every other app's. The backup is governed by Apple's terms, not ours.

Apple Health

If you ask for it, Pillove reads medications from Apple Health and, where you allow it, weight, blood pressure, sleep and heart rate. This is a one-way import you start yourself. Pillove never writes anything to Apple Health, and what it reads is only shown to you inside the app. You can withdraw the permission in the Health app at any time; everything except the import keeps working.

Camera and microphone

The camera is used only to read a medicine box: its barcode or data-matrix code, and the name printed on it, which is offered as a suggestion you confirm or change. The reading happens on the device. No photograph is taken or stored; only the code, the expiry date it carries and the name you accept are kept, in the entry you are filling in.

The microphone is used only while you dictate a medication. Speech is turned into text on the device by Apple's on-device speech engine. Audio is not recorded, not kept after the sentence is read, and not sent to any server.

Notifications and alarms

Dose alarms and reminders are scheduled by iOS on your device, from what you entered. Nothing about them leaves the phone.

Diagnostic log

Pillove keeps a small local file recording what the alarm and reminder system did — an alarm registered or cancelled, a dose answered. It deliberately contains no medication names and no amounts. It stays on the device unless you choose to share it from Settings.

Children

Pillove is not directed at children and does not knowingly hold information about them.

Deleting your information

Deleting the app removes its data from the device. There is nothing held anywhere else to delete.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
